Our journey began under a tree...
Welcome to Wilma Fox Child Development Centre Welcome to Wilma Fox Child Development Centre Wilma Fox Child Development Centre, is a legally registered community based organization located in Kyenjojo District.
It was started in 2018 by Pastor Twesige Selegio who Is the Director Lawrence Anthony Earth Organization International Uganda Chapter after observing all the troubles orphans and neglected Children pass through especially in HIV/AIDS struck and alcoholic families and Knowing God has a plan for each and every child.
At Wilma Fox Child Development Centre, we believe every child deserves a safe home, education, and the chance to thrive. Since 2018, we have been rescuing orphans and neglected children in Kyenjojo District, Uganda — providing them with shelter, education, healthcare, and above all, love.
Our journey began under a tree with over 90 children gathered for their first lessons. Today, we continue to serve hundreds of children through our orphanage, schools, and community projects — but the need is still great, and we cannot do it alone.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
Equipping and empowering orphans and vulnerable children into spiritually, socially and economically upright adults free from any form of poverty.
Our Vision
An empowered and equipped child growing spiritually, socially and economically in responsible adult free from any form of poverty.

As God was growing and Changing Mr Twesige Selegio, God began opening Twesige’s eyes and heart to the droves of wandering orphans in his country. He became burdened by these children and their hopeless plight. One day, moving around I got a vision that He has to be the “a helping hand” to these orphans. God wanted Twesige to feed, clothe, shelter, educate, and nurture these children while sharing His love.
Currently, there are 60 children being cared for at the Wilma Fox CDC Orphanage. All the sixty are waiting and praying for sponsors. Gradually we need classrooms, toilets, a medical center, dormitories, and many other structures to be built, to provide the children and staff/volunteers with good standard of living.
In attempt to fulfill the above mission and with just with $25 Twesige traveled to a remote part of Uganda called Butunduzi, after finishing His last paper at University, In this area he had no land people gave him temporary place where he can meet the children under the tree, within two weeks he had over 90 children attending his classes from under the tree.
While teaching many children could come very dirty, in dirty clothes, with no book or a pencil, when he inquired only to find out.
