My Friendship with Edward Opondo

A Testimony of Faith and Friendship

I want to share a remarkable story about the goodness of God and the power of friendship. In 2019, I met Opondo Edward from Kenya in an extraordinary way. Edward had previously met my long-time friend, Nash Ignacio Ortiz, in Houston, Texas, USA. Nash entrusted Edward with a mission to find me, and true to his word, Edward made the long journey from Kenya to Uganda to locate me.

After finding me and reporting back to Nash, our ministry began to experience God's blessings in remarkable ways. Nash started by building an orphanage house, installing solar power, and providing Christmas food for the children every year. He also built a kitchen and introduced a coffee project for sustainability.

What's truly remarkable is that Edward has been a constant source of support and encouragement throughout this journey. He has driven all the way from Kenya to Uganda with his own fuel, selflessly giving his time and resources to advise and assist us in our ministry, school, and outreach activities.

We are grateful for Edward's dedication and Nash's generosity. Their actions demonstrate the love of God and the power of friendship. We pray that God blesses them abundantly for their kindness and generosity.
